Welcome to the Amazing Music of Tim Schramm!

Tim Schramm is a native of Rochester, NY and is no stranger to the piano & organ. He showed a keen interest in and started playing the piano at the age of six. At the age of 10 his parents introduced him to the Mighty Wurlitzer in the Auditorium Theatre in Rochester, and it was love at first sight! Since that day the organ has become his passion. Tim played his first church service at the age of 11. Since then, he continues to play church services, weddings, funerals, organ dedications and theatre organ concerts.

As a young teenager Tim traveled with the Harmonaires Gospel Quartet out of Buffalo, NY where he developed his Southern Gospel style piano skills. The quartet recorded 4 LP albums during his time with them. He has produced a CD entitled “Songs of Reflection & Hope” that features his piano artistry. Tim is retired form the Rochester City School District where he was a full time accompanist for The School of the Arts. He is currently Director of Music for St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Newark, NY and Assistant Organist for St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Geneva , NY

Over the years Tim has been extensively involved with the Rochester Theatre organ Society. He has served both as Vice president and Program Chair. Over the last twenty years he has produced and directed the well-loved “Christmas Follies” for RTOS. When the pandemic hit and RTOS couldn’t hold in-person concerts, Tim graciously offered his home and talents to video a large share of the Christmas Follies for RTOS members to watch on YouTube. The performance currently has over 3,800 views and can be seen on the Rochester Theatre Organ Society’s YouTube channel. He is also the House Organist for the Rochester Broadway Theater League where the RTOS 4/23 Wurlitzer is installed. Recently Tim was honored to be invited to play a noon recital on the world’s largest pipe organ, the 449 rank Midmer-Losh organ in Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Not long after that performance he was invited to come perform again. Tim has also traveled to England many times to perform in the Byron Jones Organ Festivals and has also played for the Kingston Theatre Organ Society in Canada thus taking his career international.

Tim lives in the small hamlet of East Palmyra, NY in a converted church. He has a four manual Wurlitzer Publix replica MIDI/Hauptwerk organ and a Chickering grand piano in his music room named “The Victoria Schramm Memorial Music Room” which he has dedicated to the memory of his late daughter. Tim currently uses his home to hold hymn sings and other small concerts that feature local talent. He has ventured out into a new area and has recorded a Christmas song/video he wrote called “Miracle in Bethlehem” that was produced by Studio6 Recording & Production in Ft. Lauderdale. It can be seen on Tim’sYouTube channel along with a variety of his other recordings.
